Hema Malini’s first look in Gautamiputra Satakarni- An Epic saga based on Satavahana ruler

The first look of Hema Malini in Gautamiputra Satakarni is out on the eve of her birthday. The Dream girl of Bollywood who has made a big mark in the Hindi Film Industry has often touched the grounds of South Cinema Industry and it has been over a decade that the actress is making a stormy comeback in Tollywood with an epic saga titled as – Gautamiputra Satakarni.

Her first look in the movie looks intense as well as intriguing. She will be essaying the role of a mother of the ruler. The film is said to be based on the life history of 2nd century CE, Satavahana ruler.

Hema Malini is turning 68  and she is still glorious. Born in Ammankudi of Thanjavur district in Tamil Nadu and started her filmy career with Tamil film Idhu Sathiyam. She forayed into Telugu films with Pandava Vanavasam. Later she marked Bollywood and debuted her career with the film, Sapno Ka Saudagar. Thereafter, she got completely engaged in Bollywood and did hardly a few Southern movies in rest of her career.

Years after, she is making a comeback. Hema Malini is seen playing Gautami Balasri, mother of Gautamiputra Satakarni, in Nandamuri Balakrishna’s 100th film, which is produced by Saibabu Jagarlamudi, Y Rajeev Reddy and Suhasini Pangulur under the banner of First Frame Entertainment.

Director Krish made it to his Twitter account with her first look poster and wrote, “Happy birthday to the legendary actress @dreamgirlhema #GautamiBalasri.”

Gautamiputra Satakarni has been creating ripples in media, ever since it was announced. The film also stars Shriya Saran and Balakrishna.

Hema Malini’s first look has increased viewers’ expectations about the movie, which is set to be released in theatres  around the world on January 12, 2017.
