The announcement that was made by our Prime Minister Narendra Modi and taken a hard decision on the demonetization of 500 and 1,000 notes in order to curb the scourge of Black Money became a talking point for more than a week.
Some have praised the daring move while others talk about the inconvenience it has caused to the common man but PM Narendra Modi’s move to withdraw high-end currency notes of Rs 500 and Rs 1000 has been regarded a greater move in the benefit of the country and a large share of the population supports PM on this decision. Sonu Nigam is one of them and he conveyed it through a video narration.
In the video, the singer requests fellow countrymen to have patience as the future is bright. He begins by saying how music resides on a piece of paper (the video shows him reading a musical notation), how paper is vital for education, history resides on paper, wealth (Goddess Lakshmi) too resides on it and how paper helps spread the news.
Demonetization may not be an easy step but it is the first step towards a better tomorrow.
