As a freelance writer for the famous Times of India she has been superb with her awesome contributions and has found a place in the hearts of many readers. It was in the year 1984 Poetry Society of India was first established and Meghana Gulzar’s poetry was published in collections of this Poetry Society of India.

It is important to mention here that she finished graduation in the subject of sociology and later as an assistant director to Saeed Akhtar Mirza she was superb.

It is now said that the story of her next film for Junglee Pictures is all about a girl from Kashmir marrying an Army officer of Pakistan. This film is said to be a espionage thriller and in this film an Kashmiri woman would give some important information during the 1971 Indo-Pak war and help India to overcome Pakistan.

The courage, determination of the woman would be brought out in this film. It is now revealed that Priti Sahani of Junglee Pictures was trying to get the rights two years back and last year Priti asked Meghana if she would direct the film.

Then things did not materialise and the project was dropped. It was surprising when another production house got in touch with Meghana and again there were some issues and the idea to direct film was shelved. It is now said that Priti of Junglee Pictures was considered by Meghana plus the author and this time around things went off smoothly. Great!!
